I'm sending you this e-mail in response to the pro-life supplement that appeared in our very liberal and opinionated school paper, the Daily Illini, this past spring. I was absolutely elated to witness someone getting the message out in both an objective and a subjective manner. Before then, I was only capable of defending life from an emotional standpoint. Between studying pre-med, pre-nursing, and pre- pharmacy, my interest and concern will be forever held by this fight to establish a definition of life. Thank you so much for all that you have done, and I wish your organization good luck in promoting this culture of life!

I'm not sure where to begin. I suppose I could pick one of the 50 or so untrue, misleading, or downright blatently incorrect "facts" that you have so thoughtfully provided me in your "advertisement". I'm sad that I wasted 5 minutes of my life reading your propaganda. I can only ask, how in the world can you ask people to "think outside the box", [HLA's 2004 Publication] by repealing an abortion law that allows women to make their own informed choices. You are asking them to "think outside the box" by limiting their options to what the law says they must do. Am I the only one that finds this slightly ironic?

After receiving (HLA's) insert in my college newspaper (The Daily Texan) I changed the way I thought of abortion. Before, I knew I would never make that choice, but I should not impose my beliefs on others. (Now) I think that human life, especially the growth of a child, is an amazing miracle. I even plan to make a career of working with neo-nates. Thanks so much for the wonderful and life-saving information.

I am a student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. This supplement has allowed me to see the truth in abortion. I am truly shocked at the methods used in aborting a child. I understand fully the development of a child in the womanÕs womb, but have never thought about how the child must feel the pain of being murdered. I have changed my opinion regarding the abortion issue. You now have another advocate for the rights of the child! Please keep on distributing these to other college campuses in the future.

Know that, try as you may, your battle will prove feudal to me. I will stand by my convictions as strongly as you stand by yours. If living in the dark means being able to make decisions about my own body, I hope to never see the light. I am one woman you will never win over.

Thank you very much for putting this website together. I am currently putting together a research project on the topic of assisted suicide, euthanasia and issues relating to patient autonomy. Especially helpful was the pamphlet that is available through this site. I am especially grateful for this information as I am trying to gather as much information as I possibly can.
